About Me

After years of chronic back pain, knee, hip and foot pains, I discovered that I had bilateral hip dysplasia in my high school sophmore year. The news and the injury caused me to stop running and all other athletic activites. Nevertheless, I had my first PAO on my right hip during my junior year, causing me to miss out on a month of school, but it was worth it. The pain I had before was gone and I enjoyed playing tennis that coming spring. This past summer, I had my second PAO on my left hip and the results are looking very similar (though I took the therapy approach a little bit differently this time around). Right now, I am preparing for the upcoming swim season.

Thank you to the people on Happy Hips for their support and information! :)
